Thank you so much for taking the time to help me find a solution, Monika! Looks way better now
Hi all!
First of all, glad to be here.
Here is my first iteration on my portfolio webpage: Portfolio.
Let me know what you think of it
first of all congratulationâs for completing your portfolio,
your images are not working:
host your image online or give them the correct source.
leave everything,
Good job
your portfolio looking good. nice work
Keep it up!
As your right side of the bg image is a little lither you may try something like:
background-image: linear-gradient(to right,rgba(255,255,255,0.4), rgba(0,0,0,0.6)),url("https://github.com/RossellaFer/fcc-portfolio/blob/master/koi.jpg?raw=true");
so your text-container has a better contrast over the background.
Hi Kaylee, Your portfolio is beautiful nice color choice and border pattern also. Just thing i should say is when you click on navigation bar show show the content with header. now its directly jump to content.
Thanks,
Monika.
I canât give technical advice on the topic, however I think youâve done a great job. Well done Rossella.

Hello, im trying to add the scrolling functionality to my navbar but do not know where to start. I want to make the sections accessible by just clicking the navbar button, as is required by the user story. I understand that it is possible with bootstrap or jquery? Please help/point me the right direction. Here is my Portfolio Page so far: https://codepen.io/lazuli44/pen/odJLmo
hi everyone!
i will add some changes in my portfolio navbar!
now check out !
here:https://codepen.io/Hooriahic/full/pVaJeW/
Hey, lazuli! The only thing you need is to edit your href attribute in the anchor tags of the nav bar to create a link to a section of the page.
You first need to assign the div of each section of your portfolio (it can be with those div with a container-fluid class or create a new div that will encase the whole section) the id attribute of your choosing. Then add the following link to the href in the navbar: https://codepen.io/lazuli44/fullpage/odJLmo(#yourid) {be sure to include the #}
(To simplify, you had a created a link to a section of your page by using an id atribute}
Also, it is best to use the link of your project in its full view which you can find in CHANGE VIEW > FULL PAGE so that the we can have a complete view when we visit your portfolio and the link you did on the navbar will not mess up
One of the best I have seen, so neat and pleasing to the eye!
Good job!
Good job!
The only thing I can add is play a little bit with the first paragraph (introduction) and the picture near it. Maybe add some spacing between the picture and the text. Also the word âHelloâ looks a little not connected. Consider using the Bootstrap ârow-columnâ grid structure to better position the text and the picture.
Very sophisticated work and good choice of backgrounds! I really liked your style!
The only thing I would add is try and add a target="_blank" property to your links. It is good both for the elements in your navbar that take the user outside the main page and for the icons of the social networks.
You would like the user to get redirected to a new page rather than the social profile being opened in the same window. Also CodePen doesnât allow it from the security purposes.
UPD
Also your links to section 3 and 4 of the navbar are broken, because the id names of the appropriate sections inside the code are given ids of " p3" and "p4 " with unnecessary spaces before and after.
Nice work!
The second and the third thumbnails of your projects arenât showing up. I know these are placeholders, but consider replacing them with âcoming soonâ picture or something like that, will give it a better feel and help you further design the page.
And the link to your facebook page is taking the user to a facebook search page instead of your profile, better fix it
Nice and clean design, but very generic, not much feedback to give here
Thanks fot the feedback Tim, much appreciated. Iâm on it
Thanks for the feedback! Itâs all super helpful and I appreciate you taking the time to help me out. All the background images are actually from my personal Instagram so Iâm stoked you like them!
