You are a leading web developer and I need your advice
I don’t know English, I’m barely writing through google translator
Hi @maksutismailov4 !
For your portfolio, I would suggest only highlighting your top 3 projects instead of 8.
Hiring managers and recruiters won’t have time to look through a whole bunch of projects , so just show your top ones.
For those 3 projects, provide a short description on what those projects are about.
What problem does it solve?
What features does it have that people would be interested in looking at?
Remember that the landscape for junior developers is competitive.
So you want to grab people’s attention on the cool projects you have built and get them to click on your projects. Otherwise, they will just move onto the next candidate.
In your About section you mention, that you have 1 year of professional experience working with different clients. In your portfolio, you should link to your LinkedIn profile that should talk about your previous experience and have recommendations from previous clients. That will be attractive to recruiters and hiring managers.
Also, you should add a link to your downloadable resume in your portfolio.
As for your GitHub, it currently doesn’t show much activity.
Some might not look at your profile that much but others might.
So be aware that your bare GitHub profile might work against you because it does communicate that you are not that active
Lastly, I would suggest reading through these article on how to clean up your presentation materials so you can stand out better in the current marketplace.
So I know you said that English is not your first language, but I think feeding these articles into your translator and picking up the useful tips will be extremely helpful in your job hunt
I am very grateful to you, I now know the shortcomings in my portfolio, you gave me the necessary information, thank you very much
I don’t know any hosting other than github to host my sites, if you know any free hosting can you please send it to me
Here is a list of common ones
