Hey good morning all . I’m new here, So I just finished my JavaScript tutorials but I don’t know what else to do. I went online and was overwhelmed by what I saw…it almost feels like rocket science. So please I need someone(mentor) to help me grow and guide my steps to becoming a good developer, thank you.

As someone who has just finished ES6 and is onto Basic Algorithm Scripting, the best advice I can give you is to take notes, preferably with pen and paper. If you don’t understand what certain parts of the code is doing, be sure to go over it until you do. Don’t try to rush the process, quality is key here over trying to fly through it.

ill second what aaron023 said. I got bogged down past few days on recursion etc and had to sit with a pen and paper and rationalise some things to myself away from the screen. Im also looking for next steps, id like to be able to program some basic websites to keep at JS but for now ill follow FCC curriculum…
