Kali Linux Installation via USB

Hey guys,

I try to install Kali Linux with the guidance of this manual.

Where I struggle is Step 3. I disabled the secure boot but I don’t get the step in how to boot from the USB Stick.

The steps that might be wrong went wrong are partition scheme. I chose GPT which should be fine given I’ve got UEFI. Fat32 with 32kb. But somebody might know better?

From here I turned the bootmenu on via the command prompt. The USB Stick didn’t show up on the first device and on the other I got a boot fail.

Could someone provide me information on how I get to boot Kali Linux from the USB?

Thank you.

Hey guys,

update:
I managed to solve the problem with changing the bootorder in the Boot Menu of the BIOS/UEFI - moving up the USB boot over the boot menu.

The following steps of in the installing process worked out so far and will to try to get familiar with the environment now.

Thank you.
