Hello there I am new here and would like to know the basics of this I only have a purging installed on my computer but don’t know anything and will be glad and willing to learn from whoever may have the time to put me through, thanks for your time
Welcome to the forum.
I would recommend starting at the top of the FCC Curriculum with the Responsive Web Design course and working through the certifications in order.
If you get stuck at any point, you can ask for help here on the forum.
Welcome to the forum! As said above you can look through the curriculum and going through the challenges there. There are a lot of people working on these challenges to reach their own goals so theres really no one person to lead you through everything.
However, as you progress through each challenge and you find yourself getting stuck or having trouble with what the challenge is asking then feel free to ask a question. There should beca help button on the challenges that will generate a post with your code and what challenge you are one. You will just need to fill out what issues you are having, and what you tried to solve the challenge. This way it gives the person reading your question all the information to help you out. Responses are usually pretty fast here as well as there are a ton of people with experience ready to help.
Just some advice as you get started. Coding is hard, and the challenges will increasingly get more difficult the more challenges you do. The best thing you can do is not stress or freak out! All of us have been there at some point or another, and that’s exactly why these forums exist. Anytime that happens make sure to ask a question so we can help out. Dont try to be an hero and work on something for several hours if you are confused or dont understand something. If you have given the challenge your best shot and are still having problems then ask your question right away
Also, this is a very common question among new coders, and I will address it here so you can have some reassurance as you get started. Most new comers will ask if its a problem they can’t remember everything as they work through the challenges and they get discouraged. It is impossible to remember all of this, its just not going to happen. Professional developers have to google stuff all the time to help them remember. The more projects you build, and put the skills in these challenges to use then the less questions you will have to ask, and the more you are going to remember.
Good luck! And once again welcome to the forum,
There should be a range of videos on YouTube about coding, but if you have any questions about coding and programming feel free to ask. We’ll be more than happy to help.
adding to what Cody_Biggs said,
The hardest part of learning anything is sticking to the path you choose.
You will have doubts, it will take time to see the benefits.
But if you can put in the work and keep at it, you will learn to code no matter what your previous experience
I think you should start off by doing some research by reading blogs and articles. If you want I can give you a link to a newsletter that I subscribe to that updates me monthly on the latest google updates and online trends.
Can you please share the newsletter?
The email that sends it is news@marketingeconomictech.com and the website should be in that email however I won’t post the link as I’m unsure if I can.
