Portfolio website, bootstrap and scrollspy

I’m fairly happy with it. A bunch of things I may change, but I could keep working on it for weeks because I will keep finding things to change.

Let me know what you think.

The main image on your portfolio is being blocked by imgur.com They have a policy prohibiting hot-linking images as you are doing.

Also, is there a particular reason the skills listed in your My Skills section are not centered or left justified on a wider screen (see screenshot below)?

Ya the my skills section was the main area i am not happy with, I can’t figure out how to make it look right with the two of them.

Thanks about the image, it must be just cached on my machines, because it was showing fine on mine.

What is your vision for how the two columns should look on mobile device vs. desktop?

FYI - You can greatly make your CSS a little more DRY (Do Not Repeat Yourself), by replacing all the code you had for the 4 parallax classes with the following:

.parallax, .parallax2, .parallax3, .parallax4 {
    /* The image used */
      rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7),
      rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7)

    /* Set a specific height */
    min-height: 600px;

    /* Create the parallax scrolling effect */
    background-attachment: fixed;
    background-position: center;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-size: cover;

.parallax {
      rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7),
      rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7)

.parallax3 {
    min-height: 400px;

.parallax4 {
    min-height: 300px;

Very nice page.

Not sure if your image left from “About me” (the stop sign image) should still be on top of “about me” when making the window small.
If feels like the image should also scale and stay left of “about me”?

(or maybe this is how you intended )

Like many portfolio projects, it looks like a template. By that I mean there is no content. The style is ok but a bit “high contrast” for my liking.
Anyway, I would like to see it again when there is more content as you progress through the course.

Thanks, actually that reminds me I intended to have all different images, but I will still use your idea, because I am doubling a lot of code.

I did intend for it to work that way, however I should try it the other way and see how it looks.
