I’m absolutely new to programming and started here through a friends recommendation. My background is largely working in Quality in industrial setting (automotive manufacturing specifically). My skill set is oriented for QA and I’m wanting to get into that field.
So what I’m interested is in your opinions regarding which courses would be most important or even essential for this. I’ve already done HTML/CSS and basic JS (which I’m not sure I actually learned, but if it’s important I’ll probably take in person lessons).
Any recommendations will be highly appreciated, thanks for your time.
If you want to try jumping around in the curriculum, my guess for the most useful courses would be:
Relational Database
Back End Development and APIs
Quality Assurance
Information Security
I don’t know off the top of my head whether some of those courses are really hard to do without the preceeding courses, but they might be worth taking a look at.
You can also go offroading and start focusing on learning testing frameworks like Cypress, Selinium, Mocha, and Jest.
