That’s correct. People are free to create their projects wherever they like, so it is not required to be a codepen url.

yahh my point is that even if we cheat its not recognized.
There is no automated way to check for cheating right now. Before you can claim a certificate, you must agree to the academic policy. If you are found to have cheated, your account will be removed. It’s incredibly pointless to cheat on the freeCodeCamp curriculum, but it does happen.
