Hi there,
Actually I plan to revise HTML part from freecodecamp, do anyone wanna join me and encourage each other?
Hi!
Nice to see you in here.
I am not sure what you are asking about revising HTML.
Do you have some question about HTML in general?
I’m not sure what you mean either.
My mistake @anon42932716 @torifoxperez
Just meant to review what I had studied about HTML and was asking if there is someone who may want to do same
That would be great, but I’m not a seasoned coder myself, so it depends on how much you know
Actually I feel like I forgot what I studied
So I try to go through it again to feel like I got it right and understand it so well
Just have the fear of go to CSS part and forget what I studied in HTML
So was asking if you guys went through the same or planning to review what you studied there to refresh your memory about HTML
I know how to use HTML, and I know it’s okay to search for new elements u didn’t know about to use it but I feel I need to know more to get it all done correctly
I’m not sure if you do the same, but I write down what I learned in a notebook. This might help you feel more confident when moving on to CSS
Actually I wrote a lot not for reading it back, but for memorizing it
I’ll try to do same as you, it might help
I finished the HTML part and went on to CSS… about a year ago
Then I got sidetracked and didn’t learn anymore. I’m starting all over from the beginning now. I don’t remember having any problems forgetting HTML. I believe they interweave a bit of HTML in the CSS course. Not too sure though
Do you want to have a plan for reviewing what we studied there together and share results
Sure sounds good to me
I did same but more than a year ago and didn’t finish the whole course of web responsive part.
Just this feeling of “I need to revisit all lessons again make me feel down and start it all over again “
So if you don’t mind we can check together Friday’s evening if we have finished reviewing all lessons of HTML part so we can go through next part later
What do you think?
What about @anon42932716 ? Wanna join us?
sry brb helping another post…
I can’t do this now, sorry. I’ve tried doing some HTMl and found I don’t really remember much, so I can’t just blow right through it. I can get back to you after I finish enough, but you might want to find another person in the meantime sorry
No problem at all
Wish you to master what you study
Thanks!
Happy Coding!
Planning and trying memorizing something is not a good plan when it comes to coding. Its impossible to “memorize” this stuff. There is just way too much and you are just going to overwhelm yourself. Taking notes is perfectly to fine to remind yourself, but the best way to actually learn and remember how to do something is by practicing it. Not sitting in front of a note book and trying to memorize everything you wrote down
Yes, sorry that’s what I meant, thank you for clarifying, @Cody_Biggs I’m not the best at saying what I mean on a keyboard
I’ll do it like you’ve just mentioned
It might be better to do it like this
Thanks for advice
