Obviously FreeCodeCamp is a great way to get into coding specially web development, but my question is how valuable can a certificate be or how be of an addition is it to a CV ? does it have any affect at all ?
It’s not completely meaningless, but the real value of freeCodeCamp comes from building a good portfolio from the projects. The cert is nice to have, but a rock solid portfolio proves what you are capable of.

It’s less vague then just saying “self taught web developer”. If I’m looking at a resume, I may not know how good FCC is, but I do know that you completed some structured curriculum and if I want to know what it covers I can google it.
