Hello, recently I finished the Front End sections and I will do the projects, I did the Responsive Web Design projects in codepen, I had planned to do the Front End projects there too because I can use React and Redux there.
but I would like to do the project in a “real” environment, I don’t know if codepen is only good for small projects or for studying.
I downloaded npm and Visual Studio then look for a tutorial to create a project using React and Redux, I would like to know if there is another way to do it.
I think codepen works really well for small projects built with HTML, CSS and vanilla JS.
But I don’t think works that well for react projects.
The pens don’t support multiple files and with real world react projects you will have multiple files and multiple components to work with.
I think that is is a good start.
I too use Visual Studio Code for work.
Some of my colleagues use WebStorm or other editors.
It all boils down to personal choice.
I think the advantage of building out the projects locally it that you will also learn the basics of git and github as well as hosting a project for the first time.
freeCodeCamp has great videos and articles on how to get started with that too.
can i ask you how you got a job? i just graduated and ive been getting really upsret not getting a job or even an internship. I figured id ask bc you said at your job so im trying to figure out if you were a wizard or just someone like me who sucks at coding when you got out of school. Generally the people im meeting who have jobs arent the ones like me who suck at coding
ya unfortunately still jobless. its sad bc i see this was back in December when i was messaging all of you and now May and still not a single interview. Its getting depressing
i try going to las vegas meetups and nothing there either alot of people like me not knowing where to go or where to turn. feels like im just wasting time. I had to even go back to a job i hate that isnt tech related. I cant even get into an remote it support job and ive literally made resumes geared only for it support lol. I have my network + certificate and still no one will hire me. Not sure whats going on it feels like a really bad run
