My project. I used some additional info about borders I learned from a book.
I started out by reading the specification and writing it down.
Then writing the HTML skeleton in Visual Studio Code and checking it on fCC.
Then I went on to work on presentation.
I started out by drawing the general concept on a piece of paper. And writing some CSS code for it on paper - for the form and fieldset with first three input fields, calculating sizes and borders.
and then did these it in Visual Studio Code and improvised the rest.
WOAH!!!
Thats awsomee!!!
Go you!!!
I agree with you about first using a coding editor and then pasted your code over. I did that with my second project and it made the writing process so much simpler as well as gave me experience with using a code editor as well. So I’d recommend that too.
I accidentally deleted my data so its really helpful that I have saved it with my code editor. I know you can download your code but I didn’t .
PS: I used vs code as well …
I usually do tutorial project in VSC and also, I try to do multiple projects of my of my own and also read about that stuff from MDN and from a book.
Though I found it much harder to come up with projects of my own since 3rd tutorial because these were so specific. I only made a list of primary, secondary and tertiary colours for it.
Meanwhile for first one I made 4 projects and for second one I made 11 projects.
It was to memorize syntax and practice stuff.
I was trying to make it as horrible as possible XD . That is not really maximally horrible. I had some ideas to make it worse, but I needed to stop myself from putting too much effort into it XD .
Omg your so funny! I love it!!!
Are you sure that your future lies in coding and not humor ?
Either way your great at both so just keep making those cool projects and post them for inspiration!
Also how are you so sure the number will change when the user enters it in???
Lol.
Well, from what I remember from college the best teachers were the ones or rather the one that used a lot of humour. I guess it may also apply to studying by oneself. As being able to include playfulness in projects makes them less of a chore. That’s one reason it’s good to get to using JS on pages as soon as possible.
Some of fun things are malicious compliance design and using nonsense data in programs XD .
I guess I could try. Most of stuff I do is quite boring and tied to my art/hobbies. But I find wacky stuff most energising for some reason.
Lol, I forgot about 0 XD . It doesn’t change when multiplied XD .
Now if the number is 0, the page content changes to:
Well your art sure has got quite the character XD.
I couldn’t stop laughing when I looked up what the X and the D stood 4. I was sure that it was some kind of abbreviation for one of those super tough and complicated stuff that all other developers seem to know={
You should put your projects online if only to make people laugh like this one: itcorp.
Unless you don’t want people to ruin it be entering 0. !!!
