All my curriculum has been reset and all my certifications are lost!

I just signed into my account and I don’t see any of my past progress. I have already progressed up to the Data Visualization Certification and I have been using freeCodeCamp since 2017.

I was shocked to see all my progress have been lost. I didn’t do a reset either.
I signed in the usual way using my primary email and I was depressed to see that everything has been reset and I see a fresh curriculum just as logged into the first time.

Can someone help me with what I can do to overcome this situation? I am very sad that all my progress including the certification have been lost! This has never happened to me before!

Yes. I’m sure 100%. I always use only one email address to log in to my account. I have been using the same email address for almost 3 years now.

This sort of thing happens when you create a duplicate account. I’m just not sure exactly how it occurred in this case.

This occurs when you accidentally and unknowingly create a duplicate account. Your original data is out there somewhere.

I am very much sure that this is the only way that this ever occurs. I’d reach out to support to see exactly how this duplication occurred.

are you sure you did not change the email address? it can happen if you log in via github and you change your github email, or something like that

I never used github to login. All I used was my email address. It’s the same address I have been using for about 3 years. I have already checked many times. I checked it today too. Everything has been reset.
