I have yet to build a portfolio page and it looks like I have to have a github account (which I do)
Where have you gone after finishing the course? Applied for jobs (?) went onto javascript or something else?
My pages are plain. I am thinking of learning javascript and maybe enhancing my html/css skills before I send a portfolio out there.
advice?

              Hi @Susan626 !
I would say to do both of those things and more.
It is important to remember that the junior developer market is really competitive.
The more skills you have, the better you will be able to compete and land a job.
If you are interested in web development, learning JavaScript is a must.
If I were you, I would continue on and do the JavaScript course and front end certifications.
Then you can build projects on your own after that and put together a portfolio.
Also, it would help if you learn a little backend too.
Any little bit helps when standing out amongst the pool of junior devs.
Hope that helps!
