Good ways to study for frontend job interview

Hello fCC Forum,

I have just finished building some solo projects for my portfolio and I am now ready to prepare for studying and practicing for job interviews. I was wondering about ways to accomplish those things with a hectic schedule, especially since I became a new parent and only have about 2 to 3 hours each day to do some coding and frontend related stuff. Any advice and resources given will be gladly appreciated :hugs:

Check Freelance websites like Upwork that provide projects you can build in exchange for money. After all, these are the projects real Companies are looking for! I don’t use Discord but I’d recommend having a look at some coding Groups that’d help giving you something to train on and give their time and attention to give you feedback. Or if you have a relative or friend who works in tech, they can help you too!

Getting freelance gigs tends to be a very different skillset than interviewing for full-time positions, so I recommend figuring out which one you’d rather focus your energy on.

In addition to the freeCodeCamp interview prep content, you can find a lot of examples of what company interview processes are like. Sometimes, you can even get details about the real interviews for specific companies. This sort of material can give you a general idea of how skills are assessed in technical interviews. When you’re applying for jobs, if you are selected for a technical interview, you can always ask what to expect. The recruiter might tell you to prepare specific material, what topics to brush up on, or just give you a general idea of the format. It depends.
