Hey, i’m fairly new to coding, i’ve gone to a bootcamp to learn C++ to build up some fundamentals and understanding to coding and have learned basics of Python aswell through online courses. i feel like i know a fair amount of concepts but i have no clue what to do now. i’m absolutely sure that i’m nowhere close to being ready to get a job and i dont know whether i i should keep learning python or swap over to JS and do frontend development. i’ve learned basics of HTML and CSS awhile ago aswell, website development seems fairly fun to me but i was thinking of working backend until i found out that most of backend work is work with database and i’m not sure if that’s what i had in mind… i’m just so lost can anyone guide me or show me a pointer on where to go from here?

I would suggest do checkout JD of jobs available in your city or city you wish to locate to and choose career path accordingly ?

JS can be used for both web app ( React or similar framework ) and mobile app development ( React Native )
i’ve learned basics of HTML and CSS awhile ago aswell, website development seems fairly fun

I would suggest, start building real world projects & keep building portfolio projects on github

Building loads of quality project is sureshot way to get into job quickly and build confidence in coding. For me Frontend Mentor worked really well, you can check it and others as well.

Also make sure to build projects with a team and keep getting feedback on code quality, areas of improvement etc
Hope this helps, all the very best
