I’m new to coding (only know basic HTML, CSS for now), and I like it so far, so I want to pursue something coding-related as a career. Here are my goals:
I want to make money online independently, which means I don’t want to work for anybody or freelance.
As of now, I can only work for about 2-3 hours a day (in front of screens)
Something which doesn’t require any interaction with people, other than maybe text messaging/email
My goal is to make $500 a month or more off this which is enough in …
Hi,
I’m looking to make $500 or more a month off coding online. I can only work upto 20 hrs a week as of now and don’t want to freelance or work for a company.
So, does anybody have some ideas/different ways on how to make money off coding without investing a lot of money?
Are coding contests good for this? If so, how do coding contests work and can I successfully make some money off them?
I do like programming and I know I have a long way to go before making money, but I just wanted to know…
Hi,
I’ve been looking for ways to make money online without investing a lot of money and working upto 20 hours a week. One such thing I think may fit this is maybe developing wordpress themes on my own. But I have some doubts as I’m completely new to Wordpress.
So can anyone answer my questions:
What exactly is a WP theme?
How do I develop them on my own (do I need some specific software other than VS Code) and how much money is needed for this, both the software and/or marketing etc?
What t…
Hi,
I’m 21. I like both web dev/mobile game appdev equally. Which one is better for me considering these limits:
I can only spend 2-3 hours a day on screens (mobile/computer etc)
I don’t want any interaction with people other than maybe text messaging/email
Something that doesn’t require a lot of investment in money (investment in time is ok)
Something I can do entirely from home.
Also something that’s scalable.
Which one has the potential to make more money despite these considerations?

Hi everyone!
I’m a 20 year old from India. I’ve decided that I want to work entirely for myself, A 9-5 or even freelancing is not what I want.
So are there any other ways I can make money online using WebDev skills? There should surely be some way right, as I see that web development is lucrative everywhere on the net. Even an income of $500 a month is enough for me now but I want to eventually do something that scales and has no income ceiling.
Any help?
Has anything significant changed about your knowledge, goals, or experience since asking these questions? There is still not a well known method of earning money with low-level programming skills that you can do without a boss, clients, human communication, or spending time on the computer.
There exists gig work that you can do without having to talk to people, such as transcription jobs and data entry, where you can work from home on your own schedule, but the pay will be based on output and these are not programming jobs.
