I'm not offline but it says that I am

I keep getting this message when doing lessons:

You appear to be offline, your progress may not be being saved.

And, it’s right, my progress isn’t saved. But I am online. I can view my profile and account just fine.

I’m using Safari 3.1.2 on macOS 10.15.6.

Please advise. Thank you!

Welcome, andrewstrain.

I am not sure if that was a typo on your side. But, if you are actually using Safari 3.1.2, then we cannot guarantee any stability or consistency with the freeCodeCamp platform, and suggest you upgrade to the latest stable version of the browser. Ideally, we suggest you use the latest stable release of Chrome for the fCC curriculum.

Hope this helps

On macOS 10.15.6, I imagine it’s Safari 13.1.2

I have the same problem.

Safari appears to get 403 errors when calling api.freecodecamp.org that Chrome doesn’t.

[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () (update-my-current-challenge, line 0)
[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () (modern-challenge-completed, line 0)

It was a typo, It’s 13, not 3.

I’ll just switch web browsers then. But still, someone should fix it. Thank you!
