Is there much assumed knowledge in the "Data analysis with Python Certificate"?

A bit of background:

I took a programming unit in university, covering variables & conditionals, loops, functions and compound data over 13 weeks using Java. So very basic and elementary.
I also have data analysis experience in RStudio in some stats units, and I want to get into a financial analysis/research analysis/data analysis role as a career.
I’m not sure if I can just jump straight into the data analysis course, or if there is any other things I should learn first.
Thanks.

A good fundamentals in Python would help a lot: https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/scientific-computing-with-python/

If you are a keen learner of data science, it would also help you. As data is new oil, so dive into data science.
