This is the first codepen that I created for the Tribute Page, just started re-learning code over the weekend so I tried to keep it as basic as possible while still trying my hand at a few things I learned. Give me an honest criticism, would love to know little tricks and tidbits to make the page cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. Thank you

Regarding your page design…

Cool :+1:

I’d just modify Anchor color to improve readability (that Wikipedia link is blue over blue)

Also, try using that Yankees logo as a background image or you’ll run into responsiveness issues.

Err… Have you just changed it to black? Now, that was fast :laughing:

Hi @cfountain931, welcome to the forums. Your page looks good but some things you may want to revisit;

  • Make your page responsive. On my MacBook Pro there’s overflow on the desktop size. It looks worse on smaller screens.
  • Possibly make the tribute info a little wider on larger screens.
  • The black link away is really hard to see. Black on dark blue is not a good combination.
  • Review the lesson about giving meaningful text to links
