Hi All, I am pretty knew to freeCodeCamp. I have finished HTML, CSS, and Applied Visual Design. I was just looking at the five projects that I have to do when I finish the rest of the lessons, and I realized that I am not sure where I am supposed to do them. When I did a class with NuCamp, we used Visual Studio. Should I complete each project in VS? Thanks for any advice. Cristy
HI @cristybinder !
Welcome to the forum!
If you want to build your projects in vs code then that is fine.
You will need to make sure to complete all of the required tasks and submit your project in the fcc editor to get credit for it.
Ok, I guess it is easy enough to submit it in the fcc editor. I also just joined Github, so that may be an option too. So, this may be a silly question, but I guess I can just create all the projects in the fcc editor?

Hi @jwilkins.oboe , I guess what I was trying to say in my last response is that I am concerned about how to save my work in fcc. I opened the first project, the tribute page, but I don’t see a way to save the work I would be creating. What am I missing?
Cristy
On Windows/Linux, Ctrl-s
will cause it to save. I’m assuming there is something very similar if you are on a mac.
Ok, maybe I will just create it in VS or Github and just copy it to fcc.
Thanks
I was under the impression that if you were logged in it would save your work in your account.
But keeping another copy on your local machine would be a good idea too
