Looks really nice! I love the colors. I would center the social buttons and try to get the text with your name and profession and the button to be always visible (now I have to scroll to see it). It is seriously amazing if this is only your second page!

I like the colors, the general layout but also the content. Shows that you are passionated about what you do.
Some elements don’t properly align now (I use chrome). The videos, the one in the middle looks bigger than the rest. Also your contact/social details at the bottom … hmm don’t align (or is this how they should look?) and perhaps they should be more visible?
Question: you want to use this to present yourself and your portfolio to get a developer job? If so, I would highlight more the passion for development and the work/projects that you did and put on a secondary plan your video and photography passion :D. (Just my idea!)

The video was problem for me, I didn’t know how to align it to pictures properly so I did it manually, but I can see it doesn’t work for everyone. About contact, I can’t see any problem, it is centered and I don’t know what’s wrong (maybe screenshot?). Social icons are on the side, I quite like how it looks but a lot of people told me it’s not great to have them there.
And about your question. That portfolio wasn’t necessary way how to get a developer job. I wanted to show, that I know how to make page, not just to present myself. I want to present myself when I have more experience. I can’t show my future employer my actual projects, because I believe they will be better after some time, and that’s time when I have to make portfolio about my web-dev career. Does this make sense?

About the social contact icons this is how they look http://imgur.com/a/LGSaE If this is how you want then leave them like this I’m not a UX expert. I just think is a good idea to make them more visible.
