Where are you now with your coding?

Is there any one who have been doin jobs without collage degree just only from learning n practicing here?

Hi @Simon_phoenix !

Welcome to the forum!

Here are some people in the FCC community who got jobs as developers.

Hope that helps!

it’s certainly possible, but it depends on how you utilize your resources and learning time. you don’t need a college degree, but you do need to be able to show employers that you know as much as someone with a degree or, better yet, more than them. the main piece of advice i can give is build good projects to show employers. it doesn’t matter how many courses you take, books you read, podcasts you listen to, or videos you watch, you need to be able to apply your knowledge. FCC projects are a great way to start off, but make sure your project is unique to you and not a replica of the tutorial. if you have projects completed and you want feedback, #project-feedback is a great place for that. in order to get that first job, though, you need to get yourself out there. reach out to people on linkedin, build your resume and portfolio, go to programming events and, basically, just get involved in the community as much as you can. the journey from beginner to having a programming job isn’t easy, but it most definitely is possible.
